 Gary Cressman, Executive Chairman

Gary Cressman was appointed to the Board in January 2009. A Fund Adviser with over 15 years experience in the emerging markets, Mr. Cressman has traveled, studied and traded in most emerging markets and has extensive experience of various distressed assets. Prior to joining Bridge Asset Management LLP, Mr. Cressman was one of the 2 founders of Argo Capital Management Limited and remained an owner of the business until May 2005. He was a fund adviser of The Argo Fund, an emerging markets fixed income and distressed debt fund, from its inception in 2000 until May 2005. Mr. Cressman was also involved in the creation of the Argo Global Special Situations Fund in 2004, a new fund established to exploit emerging markets convertible debt and equity investments. He has been privately investing since leaving Argo in 2005.

Prior to founding Argo in 2000 Mr. Cressman worked as head trader for Banco Santander de Negocios in London. This involved the secondary trading of sovereign and corporate bonds in Eastern Europe and the CIS as well as syndications and the origination of a Croatian Sovereign Peseta Bond.

From 1994 to 1997 Mr. Cressman was at Santander Investment Securities in New York trading the sovereign debt of Mexico, Ecuador, Panama and Peru. Between 1991 and 1994 he worked at Banco Santander de Negocios in Madrid on a proprietary desk concentrating on sovereign debt restructurings of both Latin American and Eastern European Debt.

Before graduating from MBA school at IESE in Barcelona in 1990, Mr.Cressman worked in fund management at Singer and Friedlander in London for two years. He holds a degree in Economics from Durham University (1986).

Barry Muncaster, Executive Director

Barry Muncaster was appointed to the Board in January 2009. Mr Muncaster was co-founder of BioProgress Technology Limited and Bioprogress PLC (the forerunners to Meldex ). Since May 2003 he has been active as an Angel Investor in several high technology start-ups.

Keith Hemming, International Sales and Marketing Director

Keith Hemming joined Meldex in March 2007 as Head of Dexo Division. Since March 2009 Keith has taken over the newly created position of International Sales and Marketing Director for Meldex with responsibility for the Company's global sales and distribution agents for current marketed products, and the commercialization of Meldex's technology product portfolio.

Keith has over thirty years of experience in the Pharmaceutical industry, holding senior marketing and general management positions with Warner Lambert, Squibb Pharma and Yamanouchi Pharma. He was also General Manager of UK Operations for Fujisawa Pharma. He was a member of the Fujisawa European Senior Management Team, and worked with Astellas Pharmaceuticals’ Global Licensee Division on European strategy and implementation.

Keith was a member of the Board of Management of the ABPI for 4 years, and a member of the UK Pharmaceutical Code of Practice Appeal Board.

He was also founder and first Chair of the UK Japanese Pharmaceutical Group associated to the JPMA, and Chair of the Industry Group for the National Service Framework for Renal Services.

Senior Management

Stephen Lee, Group Technology and Systems Director

Stephen Lee joined the BioProgress Technology business in 2004 as Engineering Director with a specific remit to drive the NRobe technology to satisfactory handover to FMC. He spent over two years developing the pilot machine at Harro Hoefliger GmbH and FarmaSierra. He went to work on the WaferTab™ and Tabwrap™ technologies, and took responsibility for all the technologies in Cambridge in May 2007. He was appointed as Chairman of the Meldex Operational Board and was appointed Director of the BioTecFilms LLC manufacturing plant in January 2008, where he managed the development of a number of pharmaceutical film products to FDA standards.

He has been an agent for change management, and in a previous position as Technical and Engineering Director at The Denby Pottery, his remit was move the business from the 19th century to the 21st, and drive “Best Practice” through the departments.

Previously he was Director at the precision engineers TH Dixon Co Ltd, and at Protector Technologies the safety and medical device company.

He started his career in bioengineering and was a research scientist at Howmedica, the orthopedic implant device subsidiary of Pfizer.

He is a Fellow of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers.

Jayne Cooper ACA, Head of Finance

Jayne joined Meldex in November 2006 from Grant Thornton as European Financial Controller. At Grant Thornton Jayne managed a portfolio of diverse growing businesses predominantly in the technology sector. In April 2007 Jayne was promoted to the role of Deputy Finance Director with a particular focus on European operations and corporate transactions.

Since joining the Company Jayne has introduced a new management reporting system and completed a number of corporate and product transactions and used her commercial skills to develop the business in a number of other key areas.
