Meldex has initiated a number of important product developments using its proprietary technology. These projects will be developed using both the Cambridge facility and specialist third parties to maximise the speed of development.
Meldex’s development strategy is to apply its skills and resources to develop technologies and produce products that improve the efficacy of oral delivery of food, vitamins, minerals, supplements, and pharmaceutical actives. It is committed to providing products that can meet its criteria for rapid onset of action as well as patient convenience, especially where swallowing is a particular problem. It applies its knowledge of edible film characteristics to produce the solution to the requirements set by markets and consumers.
Meldex acts as a third party contract research and development organization and has worked with many entrepreneurs and organizations both large and small to find solutions to product process and manufacturing problems.
