Hintz Joint Venture announcement
Posted on: Thursday, April 09, 2009Meldex announces that it has completed talks and contracts with Hintz Ltd on the Joint Venture (JV) to develop and commercialise a range of natural fruit flavours in a rapidly dissolving film strip. Meldex contributes product development, based on the SoluLeaves™ and XGel™ patented technology, and will manage the supply chain. Hintz Ltd will contribute sales and marketing expertise.
The product was launched at the IFE (the International Food and Drink Event), and a focus group has been arranged to assist with marketing. The JV, called BioHints Ltd, is in discussion with a number of interested parties.
